The SOULTRAIN was a show in from the late 60's to the early 80's.
You see, there was a show called "American Band stand" From the 30's (yeah that's right the 30's) that was sort of the white peoples' MTV at the time, but it was on the radio. American band stand lasted for awhile, but then A bunch of minorities, mostly blacks, desided that they didn't want to listen to "white music" anymore so they came up with THE SOULTRAIN. It started out as a weekly radio show, and enevetably turned into a show. A lot of musicians were on that show, mostly famous jazz artists. Now i'm not so old that i used to watch American band stand or even THE SOULTRAIN, but i liked the re-runs. Also they had a hot girl as their symbol, this is just a picture of her i found on deviant art.
